Dilbahar is a young and talented singer who got music as a legacy as he was born into a family of singers. His maternal grand mother Bibi Noora was one of the most highly acclaimed singers of the Sufiyana Qalam in the region. His father's entire family sang the Qawwali form and performed at many programs. His mother Swarn Noora, like his grandmother, practiced the Sufiyana Qalam. Dilbahar is in his early twenties, but his voice has the maturity of someone much older. He can play the Harmonium, Dholak, Tabla and several other instruments. He performs at many programs all over Punjab. |
