Born in the family of musicians, Mrs. Vidula Madhusudan Sathaye had her early training in music at the Deodhar School of Indian Music (Mumbai). She continued her studies in New Delhi at the Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and then from Mrs. Madhuri Dandge.
Mrs. Sathaye sings regularly for All India Radio and in many private functions and has designed a performance based on the folk music of Maharashtra that she has performed on several ocassion.
