Essence
A
part of the famous ballad Malushahi, this excerpt
describes how Rajula's father Sunpata Sauka
leaves his land in Bhutan and comes to the Kumaon
region. Rajula insists on accompanying him.
On the way she dreams of Malushahi who tells
her that they are destined for each other and
she should not marry the boy chosen by her father
but come to him.
