An assistant professor of music in GDC college, Archana ji has done a PHD on the music of Malwa with a special focus on the the Nirguni songs of saint poets like Kabir that have traditionally been very popular in this area. Along with being a scholar of music, she is herself a very fine singer and performs at AIR and private programs. She is the chairperson of the Shipra Sanskriti Sansthan in Ujjain that is a very active organization in the field of theatre and many of the plays they do are infact musicals.
